KARTIK NARAM -
Playwright
Kartik is a writer and lawyer from Cranston, Rhode Island, now living in New York City. His work has been developed and produced at Current Harbor, the Richmond Shephard Theater, Vassar College, and the A.C.T. Ensemble in Rhode Island. Kartik is a graduate of Vassar College, where he received the Marilyn Swartz Seven Playwriting Prize.
LORI PARQUET -
Playwright & Performer
LORI E. PARQUET is an actor, playwright and teaching artist from New Orleans, Louisiana. Her New York City credits include Macbeth, Dispatches From (A)mended America(Off-Broadway, Epic Theatre Ensemble), Dog Act, Ajax in Iraq, Honey Fist (Flux Theatre Ensemble), and Republic, Baal, Murder In the Cathedral (Hoi Polloi). She made her international debut performing in Pillars of Society at Teater Ibsen in Skien, Norway. As a playwright, Lori was selected as one of six featured playwrights for season five of the Fire This Time Festival in January 2014. Her most recent play, In Communion, is published with Indie Theater Now and her play, Sir, was staged in 2013 as a part of Flux Theatre Ensemble’s Understand Our Ground—a night of theatre dedicated to the challenging issues surrounding the murder of Trayvon Martin. As a teaching artist, Lori has taught many aspects of theatre, including acting, playwriting, and directing to various populations across New York City. She has taught with such esteemed organizations as The Public Theater, Stella Adler School of Acting, Epic Theatre Ensemble, and CUNY Creative Arts Team.
CYNTHIA TONG -
Administrative Assistant
Cynthia spends her time helping artists make their art happen when she is not working at her job as a media planner at a healthcare advertising agency. While attending Wesleyan University, she was a director of the Precision Dance Company for three years, and a leader in the Terpsichore Dance Core for four. Originally from the greater Los Angeles area, Cynthia is now based in New York City. She is truly grateful and excited to be learning from and working with Current Harbor.
ANDREW MASSEY -
Playwright
Andrew Massey is a playwright and actor based in Brooklyn, NY. He is a member of Youngblood and a frequent collaborator with Current Harbor. His work has most recently been developed and produced at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Dixon Place, The Tank, The Stonington Opera House, and with Rhapsody Collective. He is a graduate of Vassar College and The National Theater Institute. While at Vassar his work was developed through the Experimental Theater and the Philaletheis Society and received the Molly Thacher Kazan Award. His plays include Chesapeake, Grown, and The Winter Palace.
CHRISTINE PARDOS -
Artistic Associate
Originally from Golden, Colorado, Christine is now an actor living in New York City. She has interned at the Obie Award Winning not-for-profit theater, The Bushwick Starr, and has acted and danced at The Bushwick Starr, Dixon Place, The Tank, Robert Moss Theater, The Chain Theater, The Hudson Guild Theater, and The Invisible Dog. She has also acted in multiple short films and web series, composed original music, and devised comedy sketches. Prior to moving to New York City Christine attended Skidmore College. She was also an acting apprentice at Williamstown Theatre Festival, trained at the Stella Adler Musical Theatre Summer Intensive, and acted in multiple shows with Saratoga Shakespeare Company and at Skidmore College.
MARK VAN HARE -
Sound Designer & Composer
Mark is a composer and sound designer working in New York City. He composed original music and designed the sound for Icarus at University Theatre with The Drama at Yale, In Fields Where They Lay at the New Ohio Theatre, Generation Sex with Teatro Luna at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, Mr Landing Takes a Fall at The Flea Theater, Remission at the Ford Studio at Signature Theatre, Daniel Fish's Eternal at Incubator Arts Project, All God's Chillun Got Wings at JACK, in Brooklyn, Look Upon Our Lowliness at Harlem School of the Arts Theatre, and Pains of Youth with The Cake Shop.
