Current Harbor's in-school and after school residency programs offer students a hands-on learning experience in interdisciplinary performance. Whatever the students' background or experience, each participant will be immersed in a collaborative environment. Students will learn skills such as movement, choreography, composing, playwriting, acting, filmmaking & projection design, and direction. We work with students of all ages on a flexible timeframe ranging from one-hour workshops to multiple-week residences culminating in a performance. 

 

The Current Harbor Team has 20 years of combined teaching artist experience. We have led residencies and workshops with Lincoln Center, the National Student Leadership Conference, Inside Broadway, YMCA Community Arts Program, Notes in Motion, Manhattan Youth, Epic Theatre Ensemble, Windhover Performing Arts Center, Opera House Arts, Reach Performing Arts Center, BOLD Arts Camp, and in the public schools throughout NYC.
